About Us
We are a mother daughter duo dedicated to empowering people from all walks of life to embrace their natural beauty. We believe in the power of nature and are committed to providing quality products to people with visible results regardless of their age, race or sex.
The 'mother' of this duo, Jo, has been doing hair from when she was a little girl. She became the hairdresser for many family friends and neighbours in a time when a lot of people could not afford to go to a hair salon or couldn't find one that catered to afro coily and curly hair.
Jo now has over 25 years experience as a hair stylist from running her own business. It was when she became a mother that she became a lot more health conscious and particular about the products used on her children's hair and skin.
After doing research she was horrified at the many harmful chemicals used in off the shelf hair and skin products, particularly those for afro hair. She raised her kids to also be health conscious about what they put in and on their bodies.
The 'daughter' of this duo, Jahnelle, grew up to be very health conscious and pro natural. She became fed up of products that do not do what they say and were not good for sensitive skin being someone who experiences this herself. She began to make her own products including hair conditioner, oils, and even deodorants.
This became 10 fold during lockdown when the pair started growing their own produce and making hair and skin products together as a hobby and giving them out to family and friends.
It was with their encouragement that we decided to start our business so that people can buy trusted products from people that truly care and understand all hair and skin types. We have been that frustrated customer!
Our purpose is to empower people, build trust in the hair and beauty industry, and educate others on how to look after and enhance their natural beauty.
